Hong Kong: Here I Am…

Salam Jumaat semua

fuh..hari ni baru boleh rasa nak bernafas sikit

kalau tidak, everyday is a cracking head la..tension dengan lecturer training yg saiko semacam tu…

nak tgk henpon masa dlm kelas pun tak boleh. sikit-sikit mmg nama saya je la yg kena panggil..(padan muka saya…dah org tua tu kata please concentrate, yg gatal-gatal tgk email tu kenapa..hehehe..tapi saya tak kisah pun ..)

ohya, saya ke HK ni coz ada MBA Training on Project Financial Modelling..organised by one of the private learning provider of Singapore. Course bermula 14 Dec 2011 til 16 Dec 2011 but i arrived here on 13Dec 2011. course ni mmg best sebab dia 90% on financial terms and 10% on programming on Excel. I found so many amazing wizard and features of Excel itself, which i never bother to know before. Kira mcm 2 in 1 punya course la ni. And i think i must share the notes dengan kawan-kawan office nanti la…..maybe i should give the notes and books to the Librarian later..

tapi ,sebelum balik office, apa kata kita layan gambar-gambar sepanjang pengembaraan kali ni:

sedap yet tak habis

based on my observation, HK got very managed and interated public transport system compared to us. Sama mcm Singapore. MTR dia sangat efficient. Tak perlu tunggu pun, sampai stesen jer terus ada tren. And card Octopus dia utk MTR services could also be used for the other public transport services such as tram, bus and ferry. Wonderful, for me. Bcos it makes us easier to travel every corner of HK. Taxi dia pun reliable. efficient and pakai meter yang sebenar. So, you don’t have to worry to play around with the public transport here in HK.

and HK is exactly known as ‘shopping paradise’ for the visitors. Nak-nak lagi perempuan yang bernafsu shopping macam saya ni. Kat HK ni ada 4 butik Coach, for your info. Bagi saya yang income so-so ni (alhamdulillah), Coach mmg berbaloi-baloi la. Habis 4 butik saya redah tau. Semata-mata nak compare prices. And mmg betul, prices kat Victoria Harbour (Getaway Shopping Mall) lebih mahal dari lain-lain Butik (Times Square, City Gate, SOGO). Bayangkan setiap org yang passed by kat tepi-tepi jalan tu mesti pegang sekurang-kurangnya 2 paper bags branded items. Terpegun saya. Dan semua kedai kat HK ni adalah brand international, termasuk H&M, MArks & Spencer dan lain-lain brand best-best (malas nak tulis coz kecewa tak dapat beli satu benda tu..huhu).

drooling here and there :p

drooling lagi dan lagi

sekarang ni HK dah masuk winter..suhu pun agak volatile around 16 deg to 17 deg. itupun dah sejuk and windy semacam. Kena pakai coat kalau nak pergi jalan-jalan kat luar. Kat sini, sama mcm China, org dia pakaian mg up to date and stylo la..tak kira lelaki perempuan. So agak malu la jgk kalau saya berpakaian selekeh.

At my back is Victoria Harbour

Kat Times Square..

sekarang jugak adalah musim christmas sale. offer mmg best lah. sana-sini manusia menjinjit paper bags designers..huh

Butik Gucci yang ke 6 di HK
saya ni, seronok cuci mata jer kat designers label ni. Nak beli kena fikir conversion rate pulak. HKD100 is equal to RM42 so duit kita agak tinggi sikit la. Satu perkara yg saya suka kat sini, Salesgirls kat semua butik adalah sangat baik. Never under estimate people yang masuk butik tu. Tak mcm Malaysia pun. Kalau kita selekeh sikit jer mulalah pandangg-pandang jelin-jeling gitu. Kat sini, they treat us all the same.

with my friend
satu lagi, kat HK ni never ever worried about makanan halal. they ARE everywhere around the corner. Coz HK ni mmg international. Ramai juga orang Malaysia dan Indonesia kat sini. most of them are working for the Embassy here. Kat atas tu boleh nampak, i’m not the only muslim lady yang pakai tudung. Tudung is not a weird thing here. Coz we can see ladies wearing tudung everywhere. Almost 3 years dia kat sini. Dia belanja kami makan malam kat Restoran Osman RAmju (Islamic canteen) kat bangunan Masjid di Oi Kwan To, Wan Chai. Dia kata keje kat sini boleh la tahan enjoy nyer, cuma kadangkala sedih la tak dapat balik Malaysia selalu. Wife dia pun boring dah duduk rumah jer. And i think mmg camtu la keje kawan-kawan saya kat overseas ni. Tapi as long as dia happy and can bear with that, tak pe la. Saya happy tgk dia happy…dia la yg tolong saya handle trip kali ni. Mula dari booking the hotels and other related matters. So, kawan-kawan kat sini, kalau sesapa nak ke HK dan perlukan guidance, do contact me. Kawan saya ni, Firdaus sedia membantu kita semua.

Bangunan Times Square
okla..times up for me to get ready for today’s classes. Till then, have a nice and productive day ahead. And have a great weekend….

notes: rindu kat my family…but i must be strong. this is the life and path that i’ve chose…
